Is anyone on line a heallth care worker who volunteered in New Orleans?
Posted in Health on 07/08/2009 09:47 pm by adminI was wondering if upon return to your job, did you experience any “coolness” from your co-workers? I know several people, (including myself) who got a real cold shoulder from their co-workers when they returned! Totally baffling to us. This DID pass over time. Did you experience this?
Also, did anyone journal their experiences? Has anyone read any books written by a volunteer who worked in New Orleans after Katrina?
Has anyone been down there in the past month or so? Are the shelters any better now? When i was there, there was no electricity, no running water, (thanks to Rita going over while we were there!) and somedays no food. How is it now?
